Bankstown City Council @ Garrison Point, Georges Hall - commencing at 2pm
- Combining of the Australia Day Citizenship and Award Ceremony with the afternoon entertainment.
- 10 local residents to officially become citizens of Australia on the day," said Mayor Tania Mihailuk.
- John Stanley of 2UE - Bankstown's Australia Day Ambassador for 2010
- Free five-hour free concert featuring artists including Ian Moss, Ross Wilson, Beatle Magic, Latin Oz Dance Mania and the Bankstown Talent Advancement Program to name a few.
- 20 free amusement rides and a range of free activities to keep the whole family entertained as well as food on sale.
- 9pm Torch firework display.
- Massive program of entertainment and performances from The Dance Theatre Network, Kids Covers, The Charlotte Jane Band, The Bush Dance and Kylie Tribute Show, and Joe Hall and The Treehouse band.
- 5.5 kilometre Fun Run open to everyone, no matter your level of fitness or experience - Prizesto be won.
- Free rides - Tub Racing, 4-in-1 Bungy Trampoline, The Adrenaline Maze, Giant slide, Flying chairs, Jumping castle and Pony rides.
- Free activiities - Farm animals, Plaster painting, Craft making, Boomerang dot-art painting, Face painting, Novelty and food stall.
- Free sausage sizzle.
